The Effect of Softeners Applications on Moisture Management Properties of Polyester/Cotton Blended Sandwich Weft-Knitted Fabric Structure

چکیده
Prolonged drying times of terry fabrics is a problem as they can not be re-used until completely dry. To resolve this issue, we have designed sandwich polyester in the mid-layer with low moisture content that could reduce time excellent wicking properties. These are widely used activewear and sportswear. The effect different softeners on management properties weft-knitted fabrics’ for various applications has also been studied. Terry knitted were prepared using circular knitting machine. Six applied three concentrations, i.e., 10 g/L, 15 20 fabric pad-dry-cure method. Moisture tests rubbing fastness performed to analyze softener’s comfort performance. Results revealed softener type (i.e., cationic, anionic, non-ionic) concentration levels considerably affect capability fabrics.

The design and development of textile-based strain sensors has been a focus of research and many investigators have studied this subject. This paper presents a new textile-based strain sensor design and shows the effect of base fabric parameters on its sensing properties. Sensing fabric could be used to measure articulations of the human body in the real environment. The strain sensing fabric w...

In this paper, the ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) of weft knitted fabrics made from 20Ne cotton yarn, Coolmax yarn and their blends in dry, relaxed and stretched states were studied. According to the fibre composition, samples were divided into three groups: Group I (single cotton yarn); Group II (cotton/cotton combination); and Group III (Coolmax/cotton combination) for discussion. In add...
